The Staff Manager is used to maintain and manage staff of the Library.
Adding a new Staff
- Log into Envoqon LMS
- Click Staff > Add a Patron on the menu. The Add a New Patron page will open. Alternatively, on Staff Management page, click on New toolbar button.
The staff form has three tabs.
Complete the fields as required:
- Fields marked * are required.
- Staff Role is populated by a list generated by Role Manager
- If you check the Access All Branches, the staff will be able to manage items in all the library branches. In particular, the staff can transfer patrons and check in items from different branch.
Next enter any additional information about Staff.
- Comments: Enter any additional information about the Staff. This will be seen only by staff who has the rights to manage other staff.
- Picture: upload a staff's picture
- Click the Save toolbar button to add the new Staff. To leave without saving, click the Cancel toolbar button.
The Role Manager is used to grant permissions to staff to use the LMS. To access the role manager, go to Staff > Advance > Manage Roles .
